This Week
- LARGE GROUP (February 15th, 5:00pm): Lent, the season leading up to Easter, starts in less than a week, which means that pretty soon people will be talking about giving up chocolate, praying more, or why that dirt on their foreheads on Wednesday is actually about Jesus. This Sunday at large group we are going to get ready for Lent by talking about what it is, why it matters, and how it plays a significant role in Christian life. Brian Johnson, one of the pastors at Williamsburg UMC, will be helping us explore the meaning of Lent and how it invites us into reflection, honesty, and growth - and why that matters deeply in a world that denies death and refuses to slow down.... and it's Mardi Gras themed!
- SMALL GROUP (CANCELLED): But it'll be back, and you can still pick up your copy of What Side Are You On? by Michael Wilson and José Lucero in Ryan's office at the Wesley Foundation!
- LaAsk LaRock (Every Friday): Burning questions about faith? Milidly curious about faith? Interested in your campus minister's favorite color? Well, head to the William & Mary's Instagram account (linked below) for LaAsk LaRock to have all of your questions answered by our very own Ryan LaRock!
